Qatar Overflight Permit
Overflight permits are required for any flight operating over to Southern part of the Qatari FIR. Flights operating over the Northern section of the Qatari FIR are required to notify the Qatar CAA that they will be operating there. The new rule came in on 4 Sep 2025, and applies to all “non-scheduled” operators We can help with both of these requests.
The Northern section of the Qatari FIR includes the following airways, these routes are most commonly used by aircraft arriving/departing the UAE to/from Europe:
M677/M708 (ASROK/OBNET)
P559/L704 (BORUK/NALPO)
L602/T557/M600 (TUMAK/EGNIM)
L768/M556 (ALPOB/OBROS)
